Simulation Decomposition (SimDec)
A method for turning complex simulation outputs into structured, decision-relevant insight.
What is SimDec?
SimDec takes a Monte Carlo simulation dataset, detects which inputs are most influential for the output, and then decomposes the output distribution into portions produced by the combinations of these influential inputs.
You don’t just learn what factors matter; you see how they matter, or how to steer your output to a desired range by using these drivers.
How to use SimDec?
SimDec is an open-source project with several free tools:
- No-code web dashboard simdec.io . Watch tutorial .
- SimDec package in Python
- SimDec package in R
- SimDec package for Matlab
- SimDec package in Julia
